Delhi High Court's Direction to Enhance the Compensation to the Injured
In a recent landmark judgment the Hon'ble Justice Geeta Mittal of High Court of Delhi has directed the government that each victim who was injured during this Carnage shall be paid a sum of Rs. 1.25 Lakhs as compensation. The Government had just paid meager a compensation of Rs. 2000/- to each victim. Justice Geeta Mittal has directed the Government to pay the remaining compensation of Rs.1.23 Lakhs with in 2 months.
