I, Jagdish Singh S/o S. Puran Singh aged about 42 yrs. R/o Block 11/237, Kalyanpuri, Delhi, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:- 

1.                  That during Oct./Nov.`84, I alongwith my family was residing at the abovesaid address.

2.                  That I was running a shop of selling iron patties and making “Tokraas”.  I was having a stock of iron patties worth Rs.25,000/-.

3.                  That on 1^st Nov.`84, armed mob looted the stock of my shop and damaged my shop which was constructed with wooden planks.  They set my shop on fire.  I suffered a loss of Rs.25,000/-.

4.                  That I lodged a report with the P.S. Kalyanpuri on 5^th Nov.`84, copy of which is enclosed as ANNEXURE-1.

5.                  That I have received  a compensation of Rs.2,500/- (Rs. Two thousand and five hundred only) copy of the bank pass book is enclose.  I am entitled to compensation of Rs.22,500/-.
