I, Gopi Kaur W/o Harbans Singh aged 35 yrs. resident of RZ-159, Nursery Garden, B-Block, Khyala, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:- 

1.                  That in Oct./Nov.`84, I alongwith my husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law was residing at P-I, Jhuggi, Sultanpuri, New Delhi.  My husband was performing duty as Pathi.

2.                  That on 2-11-84, at about 10 A.M. my husband returned back from his duty, when mob attacked our house.  My husband ran away from the house.  We also escaped ourselves near our house.  Mob caught my husband and struck him against stones lying in drain by holding him from his hair due to which he died at the spot.  We recovered his dead body.  Mob also looted all our the household belongings and set the jhuggi on fire.

3.                  That I suffered a loss of Rs.25,000/- but no compensation has been given to me on account of loss of household goods.  However, compensation against for the death of my husband has been granted to me.

4.                  That I am entitled to a compensation of Rs.25,000/-.
