BEFORE JUSTICE NANAVATI COMMISSION OF INQUIRY ( Witness No : 44 ) Name : Ms. Satpal Kaur On SA Earlier I had filed an affidavit before Justice Ranganath Mishra Commission of Inquiry. I am shown a photocopy of it. I say that it is the same affidavit which I had filed before that Commission. It bears my signature. I have also filed an affidavit before this Commission. I am shown the original. It bears my signature. The affidavit is taken on record and marked as Exhibit No.44/1 and Exhibit No.44/2 respectively. Nand Nagari Police Station was near by and is visible from my house. Shir Davinder Singh was killed just in front of the Nand Nagari Police Station. He had gone to call the police but he was killed there. I had followed him and as I saw that he was being killed I ran back to my place. Cross examination by Shri S.S.Gandhi, Sr. Advocate on behalf of Delhi Police. I had filed one affidavit before Justice Ranganath Mishra Commission of Inquiry and I had stated therein what ever I had seen. I had not omitted anything in that statement. I had given the names of Rajpal Saroj, Dharmvir and Brij Mohan. It is true that they were arrested and they were tried in a criminal case. On the basis of my further statement I had given the names of Smt Prem Kaur and Raj Kumar. On the basis of my further statement police had registered an other offence against those persons and they were also arrested. It is true that in my earlier statement before Justice Ranganath Mishra Commission of Inquiry and my statement before the Committee I had not mentioned that my brother was killed by a mob outside the police station.
